From the CHRONICLES OF NARNIA through the "Perelandra Processes" of Machaelle Small Wright to Marko's book HEALING THE HEART OF THE EARTH, Wow! what Joy! But how do I ACT upon this reading? My husband and I spent 15 months (off and on) living in National Forests, trying to "connect," and then moved back into town (Santa Fe,New Mexico,USA) without a clue. Seems to me there won't be any positive change on this continent until we humans are (Please excuse this term;it comes from growing up in the fundamentalist South.) "right with God," which means 'right with Everything Else,too." (which is not what fundamentalism will teach you) I still am not there. During the Y2K experience it became clear to me that our so-called civilization is not sustainable without some fundamental and permanent adjustments. In northern New Mexico, I cannot imagine any political or economic improvements until some of us humans here carry the responsibility for healing/correcting all that we can of our civilzation's abuses. In this town nearly all of us spend our energies struggling to make enough money to pay the high rents on our low wages. Is this a symptom of skewed Earth energies, or just plain greedy economics? I'm hoping some of the people who met Marko and Ana here in November 2000 will join together to do what I call "pogocnikwork," for want of a more technical/mystical term. I try not to fear, and am still concerned that we are down-wind and down-water from Los Alamos National Labs where weapons of massive Thanotos are designed and made (biological,chemical, nuclear, and God-only-knows-what-else). Plus,you may have noticed that we do not have the most enlightened central government and maybe you need to know that we are losing our civil liberties daily as a result of the September 11th events. I almost feel a desperation, but am learning to trust the Unknown, or to relax at least. We Humanbeings need to join with our Siblings among the Rockbeings, the Plantbeings, the Animalbeings and with Earth,Air,Fire and Water and the Good Angels (Are there different kinds?) I finally realized it isn't enough to join the Green Party. LET'S GET THIS DISCUSSION GROUP ROLLING! THERE'S WORK TO BE DONE!
